Atlas Miner is the first hardware device custom made by the Atlas Navi team. Each device is part of a Atlas decentralised physical infrastructure network (DePin) communicating with other and with the Atlas Navi drivers in real time regarding traffic events.
Atlas Miner was built to communicate with almost any aftermarket dash camera, including the very inexpensive ones. Simply plugin the USB port from the camera to the Atlas Miner and the rest is done automatically. Please note: Atlas Miner DOES NOT work with factory installed dash cameras YET!
Atlas Miner uses A.I. (computer vision and machine learning) to detect traffic incidents, road blocks, lane closures, heavy traffic, police vehicles and much more. It feeds this back to the ecosystem for other drivers to be alerted and rerouted. It is the first building block to integrating the Atlas hardware technology in future vehicles.
For you: It generates significant rewards for the data you supply to the ecosystem. For other drivers: It generates valuable data visible on the Atlas Navi maps without the need to use the app. Simply plug it into the dash cam and leave it there.
Atlas Miner is a reliable income source and a very useful driver monitoring solution. In the upcoming Fleet Management Dashboard, companies will be able to access GPS data and trip history from their drivers, including driving behaviour, by paying a small fee in $NAVI.
It generates data that, when anonymised and aggregated, can generate revenue from Smart Cities and vehicle manufacturers. They can buy data with $NAVI in the upcoming Traffic Dashboard.

The Atlas Miner NFT is the ownership representation of your Atlas hardware device. It is shown in Atlas Navi and Atlas Market apps to confirm its reward levels and ownership. If you ever sell / donate your Atlas Miner, make sure you transfer the NFT to the next person.

Atlas Miner NFT is needed to link your Atlas Miner device to the app and earn. The Atlas Miner NFT is free of charge and comes with the purchase of the Atlas Miner hardware device.
Atlas Miner records speeds and only rewards the miles driven up to 40 miles / hour (65 km / hour).
This is because the purpose of Atlas Miner is to get as much data as possible from city driving where most traffic occurs.
$MILEs will be awarded only for the miles driven under this speed.
The system will detect this automatically.
The speed is NOT calculated as average speed for the whole trip, it is calculated for each difference in GPS co-ordinates. This is to prevent users going over this speed and then just leaving the app on for a longer period of time to adjust for averages.
The Atlas Miner NFT is designed to earn rewards for up to 52.000 driveable miles. It uses a similar system of levels found in the other Atlas Navi vehicle NFTs. It is automatically enabled when the device is first connected. The Atlas Miner NFT DOES NOT NEED TO BE SELECTED AS FAVORITE IN THE GARAGE. The NFT works alongside all your other NFTs, potentially doubling your rewards for the same trip.
Compared to other vehicle NFTs, the Atlas Miner NFT can be used on the same trip and will not trigger a suspicious report for using alongside other vehicle NFTs.
Atlas Miner NFT does NOT need extra fuel purchased or any other maintenance factors.
Be extremely careful when buying such NFTs especially at levels close to 30 making sure that the price you pay reflects the true value of it.
Atlas Miner earns 2X (200%) $MILEs compared to the actual driven ones, at all levels. It can generate rewards for up 150 driven miles per 12 hours, meaning a total of 300 $MILEs for every 12 hours driven. The total amount of driveable miles is 52.000, meaning a reward of 104.000 $MILEs over the lifetime of the Miner.
