### Atlas Miner Earnings Potential
The Atlas Miner NFT is the ownership representation of your Atlas hardware device. \
It is shown in Atlas Navi and Atlas Market apps to confirm its reward levels and ownership. If you ever sell / donate your Atlas Miner, make sure you transfer the NFT to the next person.
**PLEASE NOTE:**
* **Atlas Miner NFT is needed to link your Atlas Miner device to the app and earn. The Atlas Miner NFT is free of charge and comes with the purchase of the Atlas Miner hardware device.**
* **Atlas Miner records speeds and only rewards the miles driven up to 40 miles / hour (65 km / hour).**
* **This is because the purpose of Atlas Miner is to get as much data as possible from city driving where most traffic occurs.**
* **$MILEs will be awarded only for the miles driven under this speed.**
* **The system will detect this automatically.**
* **The speed is NOT calculated as average speed for the whole trip, it is calculated for each difference in GPS co-ordinates. This is to prevent users going over this speed and then just leaving the app on for a longer period of time to adjust for averages.**
The Atlas Miner NFT is designed to earn rewards for up to **52.000** driveable miles. It uses a similar system of levels found in the other Atlas Navi vehicle NFTs. It is automatically enabled when the device is first connected. \
